Starting in 2003 I wrote a number of pieces that were influenced, in a distant way, by contemporary tango music, especially the work of Piazzolla. These pieces include Milona Azure, Alba, Spanish Café, Eurydice Sings, The Stolen Branch, Pájaros del Mar, Citron, The Pale Dancer.
